The start is immediatelly uphill with a very challeging pass, with a vertical climb up to the first Climb Award at 2,850 mt above sea level. The surface of the uphill is particularly insiduous and slippery. Towards the top there are also shifting rocks and pebles. It is very important to find the right line and the right gear to avoid having to put a foot down. From the top, the downhill ramps are visible, wrapped in a precious scenery. Up to the 50th km (where there is the first rest stop), the surface has may surprises due to suggen drops, loose stone and streamsthat have to be crossed. This part of the stage does not ride smoothly. After the 50th km, the riders will enter into a beautifull valley where the surface of the track becomes very smooth. We can ride fast at 2,400 mt of elevation.
